If you have NOT e-filed yet you can make corrections to the way you answered the recovery rebate credit questions in the Federal Review section of your 2020 return. If you already e-filed then you cannot change it. The IRS is cross checking returns with amounts on line 30 for the credit and they will catch it if you answered incorrectly. Then they will recalculate your credit and your refund.
