How do I change my tax return?

Hi, I need to edit my tax return on your web site. But your site does not allow me to make any changes. Please assist. Thank you!

If you have not already filed, please comment back with what topic you need to revisit.

If you have already filed your returns this year, you can't go back and add the information. You will need to wait to see if your return is accepted or rejected. If rejected, you may correct and resubmit. If it is accepted, you will need to file an amendment by mail.

You may check your e-file status online here using only your social security number and zip code.
