Since you have not filed yet you can go back & change your option. For Online, select File in the left menu, and follow the instructions until you get to the screen you want to change.
If you can't get back into your return, try the following
1. In TurboTax Online, sign into your account.
2. Select Tax Home in the left menu.
3. Scroll down to Your tax returns & documents.
4. Select 2018, and then select Add a State (you're not actually adding a state, this just opens the return back up)
5. Make changes and then refile
Yes it is still valid ... anything can be changed up until you either mail in the return or click the orange file now button.

Hi Critter,
Does this still apply to returns filed in 2022? I selected automatic debit just now and authorized the IRS to make a withdrawal from my account when I pressed the "AGREE" button, but then realized I needed to change my payment amount. I have not filed my tax returns yet.
Many thanks for your help,
Jim
