How do I change my banking information from Wells Fargo to TD Bank

In the File section of the program on Step 2, if you select direct deposit for a tax refund or direct debit for a tax payment, you will be able to enter the bank name, routing and account numbers.

However, if you have already filed the tax return and it has been accepted, the the bank information cannot be changed. If this is for a tax refund and the bank information that you entered is incorrect, then the bank will reject the deposit and send it back to the IRS or your state. The IRS or your state will then mail a refund check to the address on your tax return.
