I need to add the military substraction benefit to my virginia state return

If you need to amend your Virgina state tax return, follow the instructions below:

TurboTax Online

1. Be sure you are signed into TurboTax for link in Step 2 to wor,
2. Go to the Amend screen.
3. Select Amend (change) return, then Amend using TurboTax Online.
4. On the screen OK, let's get a kickstart on your 2024 amended return, select The IRS or state sent me a notice (this will allow you to amend only your state return without making changes to your federal) and Continue.
5. On the next screen, select Something else and Continue.
6. On the screen Tell us which 2024 return(s) you want to amend, select 2024 state.
7. Continue until the Let's work on your state taxes screen. Select Amend next to your state return, and continue through the screens to make your amendments.
8. Find Military Benefits Subtraction: Look for the section titled "Here's the income that Virginia handles differently. Or click this link - be sure you are logged in before clicking this link.
9. Enter Military Benefits: Under "Military," select "Military Benefits Subtraction
