How do I access forms

Using the TurboTax online editions there is no direct access to any forms, schedule or worksheets.  That option is only available using the TurboTax desktop editions in Forms mode.

Form 8862, Information To Claim Certain Credits After Disallowance is reported in the EIC section.

To enter or delete the Earned Income Credit -

Click on Federal Taxes (Personal using Home & Business)

Click on Deductions & Credits

Click on I'll choose what I work on (if shown)

Under You and Your Family

On Earned Income Credit (EIC), click on the start or update button

How do I access forms

The 8862 is a Form completed by TurboTax.

  1. You are asked questions in the interview under the Deductions & Credits
  2. Specifically in the Earned Income Credit (EIC) section.
  3. To enter or correct a Form 8862 in TurboTax, you can follow these steps
    1. Select Tax Tools from the left sidebar.
    2. On the drop-down select Tools
    3. There will be 2 green boxes
    4. Select Topics Search
    5. Type  8862
  4. Continue through the interview
  5. indicate that you received an IRS notice,
  6. This will allow TurboTax to generate and file the form alongside the tax return to reinstate credit eligibility.

As @DoninGA stated, You must have TurboTax Desktop to view all of your Forms.
