How can I MAKE CHANGES TO FORM 1040

Level 9

You cannot manually make changes to Form 1040 within TurboTax Online. Form 1040 is basically a summary of all the information which you have entered in various forms. Once you change the main form, it will automatically update the Form 1040.

For example, if you feel that the wages on Form 1040 are not correct, you will edit the Form W-2 which you have entered and it will automatically update on Form 1040. Please let s know what would line you would like to change on Form 1040 and we can provide you more information on which Form you need to edit.

I live in MN. We received a Frontline Workers Pay (related to COVID) of $487.45 in 2022. I am told (repeatedly) by Turbo Tax that I need to enter this amount on Line 8 of form 1040. I cannot figure out how to do so.

Any suggestions or guidance you could provide would be appreciated. Thank you.
