I don't remember what date I specified for tax payment. How can I find that out?
I found one answer that said to go to tax tools on the left side of the web page, but tax tools is not displayed -- just "tax home" and "documents".

See if it mentions your tax payment on the Filing Instructions page. If you don't have it, here's how to get it:
Your left column menu is limited because TurboTax thinks you were finished, and your return interview is closed. You have to open your return interview back up first in order to get a full left column menu:
NOTE: When you open your return interview back up, do not make any changes in it if it's already been filed. If you later have to amend the return, it has to start off exactly as it was when it was originally filed.
NOTE: Remember all PDF tax documents and tax data files are very sensitive files, since they contain your personal ID info, financial data, and possibly bank account numbers, etc. Be sure to store them safely and securely to guard against computer theft, hacking, etc.

Thanks! But now I feel stupid. I looked at the filing instructions page twice before posting my question, but failed to see the payment instructions right at the top. 🙄
But now I know how to revisit the return after filing it.

You're welcome. Now you know how to get the worksheets if you ever want them. TIP: Don't experiment in your return, however, or it will overwrite the original.
Did the Filing Instructions show the payment date you specified?
