Can I change my routing number for direct deposit if I entered the wrong one?

If you have already submitted your tax return and the IRS has accepted it there is no way to change your refund method or direct deposit information. Once the IRS submits your direct deposit and it is rejected for the wrong routing number the IRS will mail you a refund check to the address on your return.
