You cannot change banking information while your return is in pending, nor can you change it after the return is accepted. The IRS does not allow it.

If you have filed your 2024 tax return the bank information cannot be changed.

Otherwise, in the File section of the program on Step 2, when you select direct deposit or direct debit, you can enter your bank information.
