Hired a CPA to file amended return. Returned filed. How do I make changes in Turbo Tax ?

@ksingapuri , while I am not familiar with the on-line version and its screens, the 2024 version of the product is no-longer available  ( I am pretty sure of this because Turbo is now moving on to the 2025 version). There may be workarounds  that I am not aware of -- so please consider calling TurboTax customer service for help on this , directly.

The easiest way forward is to buy the 2024  desktop version, install on your machine ( laptop or whatever ). Then import the 2024 on-line version of your return ( I am assuming that your original return was  prepared  with TurboTax On-line ).  Now do an amended return , making sure that your 1040-X and the 1040 ( amended by your CPA) line up exactly.   I believe that this desktop version of the 2024 return can be uploaded to your On-line account for use of your 2025 return ( if you choose to prepare using  the On-line product for 2025.

What do you need to change?   You don’t need to update your Turbo Tax account.   Just do 2025 and manually change any prior info as you go along.   If your 2024 return was amended you might want to not transfer from the original 2024 return.   

There is a tricky way to clear out transferred info in the Online version.  But doing this will also clear out all your entries.  Go to Tax Tools > Tools > Transfer from your computer > Continue > then Continue without transferring.
