I submitted my taxes and it got rejected. I got error code F8962-070, I spoke with TT rep and she stated that I must have checked the incorrect box indicating that I have a purchase health insurance through a money market place. My employer provided me with a 1095C not a 1095A as I was insured all 12 months through my employer. When logging back on to fix the return it keeps asking me to fill out Form 8962. I cannot fill this out as I do not have a 1095A. Is there a way to bypass or fix this?
You'll need to sign in or create an account to connect with an expert.
You will need to go to federal>deductions and credits>medical>affordable care act (Form 1095A). When you get to the 1095A Summary screen, delete the entry by selecting the trash icon. If there are no 1095 A listed, be sure to say no if it asks you have a 1095A.
Next go to tax tools>tools>delete a form>delete form 8962.
