I claimed my brother on my taxes because my mom doesnt work but im not sure if someone ele claimed him and i aldready filed what do i do?

Wait and see if your return is accepted/rejected. Only one person can claim a dependent, so one of you will have the return rejected and won't be able to efile. If this is your case then you can still claim and mail the return in. The IRS will contact both of you to determine who gets the dependent.
