Has anyone who filed their taxes and had the earned income credit received their refund? When I check irs it still gives the message that they can’t release funds

The IRS usually issues tax refunds within 21 days of your tax return being accepted if your return has no issues.

You can track your refund HERE.

However, the IRS expects the earliest EITC/ACTC related refunds to be available in taxpayer bank accounts or debit cards starting February 28, 2023, if these taxpayers chose direct deposit and there are no other issues with their tax return.

This concerns only returns claiming the Earned income Tax Credit (EITC) and the Additional Child Tax credit (ACTC), but not those only claiming the Child Tax Credit (CTC).

I read today that path is supposed to be lifted today. Check IRS website to see if you see any changes. Mine haven't changed

I checked my transcript just now and got the 846 code refund 2-22-23 . So I'm getting mine next Wednesday. Got EIC and CTC filed 1-27-23
