That's what I'm trying to find, if direct deposit is going out like paper checks based on AGI.
someone poste these updates over the weemend are to correct problems and a second wave of checks are goi g out this weekend i can only hope
Unfortunately, same for me. Updated my direct deposit on the first day the portal opened in the morning and still nothing. No update and no money.
Idk about the rest of you that has posted but I have yet to receive my payment and I updated my info the same time on the 15th so those of you expecting to get you check yesterday we clearly didn’t get it ! This is beyond frustrating in the sense that it seems people that didn’t really need it got it and yet those of us that are in desperate need still can’t get it and have been checking our accounts daily ... I’m in the verge of losing my car and my apartment .. it’s amazing how the irs decided to send out the payments obviously not a first come first serve deal because I filed my taxes early way before they were even accepting payments , and now this bs with the stimulus !!
I just read in Wall St Journal that anybody who entered their Direct deposit info my April 22 will receive deposits next week. So probably (hopefully)between April 29-May 1
The sad thing is paper checks are being sent out before people are receiving direct deposits.
I still do not have my stimulus check, 9 days later, and it's driving me insane. Rent is coming up!
A man and a woman are celebrating their 50th anniversary. They go to a nice restaurant and sit down and order. The man looks at his wife after they order their food and says I love you honey I wouldn't change a thing that has happened over the 50 years we were together. The woman sits there and looks at the man and stands up and slaps him in the face then says that's for 50 years of bad sex. The man dazed and confused sits there and thinks about it for awhile and then stands up and slaps the women.she immediately asked what was that for he replied that's for knowing the **bleep** deference...
Figured I would try to make everyone laugh in these tough times i too have yet to receive my stimulus check too but you have too try to look at the bright side of things hope everyone gets there check soon but try to laugh a little bit while your waiting for it too come yall have a blessed day
I have the same situation. I submitted my direct deposit information last Thursday the 16th and I’m still getting that message that they don’t have my payment date yet, and still no money. I thought that their website updates over the last few days would have changed something but no... anyone have any thing?
we need to hope that the updates thi as weekend and all are part of getting the proem fixed for us i dont expect changes today or tomorrow but hopeing by the middle of next week we get ours again someone posted here that was suppose to happen we can only hope
Can someone who has a Wallstreet Journal Subscription post important parts of the article pertaining to our situation on here? They mentioned something about IRS stating that they are disbursing refunds by next week.
We are all in the same boat.. no stimulus, no unemployment yet.m very slow system.

WASHINGTON—In the second big wave of stimulus payments, the IRS will send money over the next few days to people who recently provided their direct-deposit information.
These payments will likely go to two groups: One set is tax filers who successfully used the Internal Revenue Service website’s “Get My Payment” tool to add bank information by midday on April 22, according to the IRS.
The other set is people who don’t file tax returns but who receive Social Security or Social Security disability benefits, according to the Treasury Department.
The payments could follow the pattern that occurred when the government sent the first round of direct deposits two weeks ago. Then, the Treasury notified banks of the coming payments on a Friday. Some people saw the money in their accounts within hours. Nearly all the payments had arrived by the following Wednesday. This time around, that would mean payments arriving by April 29.
The IRS hasn’t released amounts, but this round of payments will put the $292 billion program of one-time payments—$1,200 per adult and $500 per child—well beyond its halfway point. As of April 17, the IRS had sent out 88 million payments totaling $158 billion, according to data released Friday.
People who receive Supplemental Security Income or veterans benefits and don’t file tax returns should get their payments by early May.
That is all much faster than the pace of payments for the previous round of stimulus checks in 2008.
“The IRS, Treasury and partner agencies are working nonstop to get these payments out in record time to Americans who need them,” Chuck Rettig, IRS commissioner, said in a statement Friday.
The rest of the money may be delivered more slowly. Those who can give the IRS their direct-deposit information will place themselves in future rounds of electronic payments. The IRS is expected to gather the data each Wednesday and send it the next day to the Bureau of the Fiscal Service, the office that makes payments, according to Jesse Solis, a spokesman for Republicans on the House Ways and Means Committee. The payments would then reach individuals no later than the following Wednesday.
But those who receive paper checks could wait for up to several months, because the government’s check-printing capacity is limited to about 5 million a week or a bit more.
Some payments may be made on debit cards, according to the Treasury. People who have questions will have trouble reaching the IRS, which is urging people not to call and is warning taxpayers that it isn’t opening mail right now.
Those who are still waiting for the payments have complained about error messages on the IRS website, problems with returns prepared by tax-preparation companies, payments to deceased individuals and missing money for children.
The IRS said it is aware of those problems and is trying to address them. Some taxpayers who had had trouble with the IRS website said Friday that it is now working for them.
Thanks love!
It’s the same message I’ve been getting as well. I entered my information in for the direct deposit on April 15th & still haven’t received my stimulus payment yet. Nor have most of my coworkers received theirs ether. From reading some of the responses in this page I’m assuming that I should get mines I’m thinking & hoping next week sometime since this past Thursday April 23rd would of been 8 days but nothing yet but keeping my fingers crossed.
