Has anyone received the message, ‘You are eligible for the payment. Once we have your payment date, we will update this page.” when they view the stimulus tracker? [Tax Year 2019]

What is preventing the payment? There are thousands (prob more) on the same boat. The only thing preventing us getting a payment is a IRS glitch.

@ddw21nd @OE316 There are people in the same boat who have received theirs as well. Also, many 15thers have spoken directly with their congresspeople and tax advocates who are saying that this is not a reason to be withheld payment. It is looking like a glitch that needs to be addressed.

@OE316 I couldn't say exactly, but it seems to be related to our 2019 tax refund still being processed. It would make since that the IRS could use that as a reason to "hold up" our stimulus because they can't determine the most recent tax filing since it is still being processed.. I'm not saying it's right, but it makes sense to me.

Joined tbe Facebook group : the forgotten 15thers .... Write CNN. .. NY TIMES... CONGRESSMAN IN MY AREA ... SUBMITTED MULTIPLE FEEDBACK TO IRS ... Nothing .  my taxes are filed .. Done and direct deposited this year and last in the same bank account ...  I have no child support obligations .. Matter of fact im a single mother of three .. And dads are backed in child support.. I work full time .. Make under 30 k a year ... So this is either a glitch or this is just a "they haven't noticed "  thing ..... Yet my ex stated that he received the stimulus and claimed it will be applied to child support according to a letter he received  ..also have not seen that either ..

@anthonym108 It very well could be a glitch. I hope it is and gets fixed. In my experience with the IRS though, they are very smart. They want their share before they will give you yours. Even if it isn't a glitch and they know full well what is going on, they could always say it was "glitch" if they got in any hot water from the press or anyone else. At that point, it is more likely that they would "fix the glitch" and we all will have to go through more hoops and wait even longer to receive any payment.. Just my opinion..

Oh and let me add .. Checked and added my bank info on tbe 15th of April as directed .  cause who know why they didn't have it .. Says eligible and will update with a date and deposit into account ending in XXXX .... But here i am still empty handed ...

You can now rest easy, that's not the answer. I got my 2019 DD Refund back in February, and I am on this boat.

I never received my tax refund still says it’s being processed I filed February 9 so I updated my bank account info with the IRS on the 15th like most everyone else did and as of today May the 8th it still say eligible but no date I don’t know what’s going on

I updated info on April 16th its now May 8th and the status hasn't changed.

I don't know what else to do. I wake up every morning thank God for allowing me to see another day and then check the IRS website as usual nothing has change. No update. I entered my information April 16 on the get my payment tool and nothing has changed. I have e mailed CNN and sign the petition. I am just waiting. I have bills that needs to be paid. I have not worked since March. I need the IRS to fix whatever the problem is everyone in my family has received their stimulus everyday I am asked have you receive your stimulus and everyday my answer is the same NO. What else can we do? When will the IRS reopen?
