Greetings, Amending any previous years tax returns, are there any fee(s) if you already paid for the service when you first filed, if you may need extra form(s) to Amend?

If the change you are making requires the use of a higher version of the software (such as upgrading from Deluxe to Premium), then you will be charged for the difference between the version you used and the higher version needed to amend.   If you just use the same version then there is no fee to amend.

Do not expect quick results from amending. It can take four months or more for the IRS to process an amended return.
