Firstly, Form 8960 is slated for release on 1/26/2017.
When you use Turbo Tax online, typing 0s on forms is not going to be easy. In order to access this form, the form needs to "pop up" in an error check. If and when that happens, you may have luck putting figures on the form.
Even so- the $0 approach is unlikely to resolve the issue. Form 8960 is not ready to be filed with the IRS- with $0s or with large figures. If the form isn't deleted, you still won't be able to file today.
If its being triggered, is not needed, and has no values, you want to delete it altogether.
In Turbo Tax Online, go to:
Do you have any interest (1099-INT)? This may require a Form 8960. The form itself is triggered by your income inputs, and not triggered at your request. So, if you have a Form 8960, there's likely a reason for it.
Have you accessed a complete copy of your 2016 return? Do you have numbers on Form 8960?
