After e-filling Federal taxes, TurboTax informed me that still I must send by mail Form 8453 and Form 8949
"Form 8949, Sales and Other Dispositions of Capital Assets (or a statement with the same information), if you elect not to report your transitions electronically on Form 8949"
Pity I wasn't informed about this before e-filling...
I've connected to the broker account, imported transactions to the desktop version of TurboTax.
Can I still try to e-fill Form 8949 (amendment?) in TurboTax, or sending by mail is the only or the best option?
BTW. Re-posting this question with corrected category..

It sounds like you initially reported your investment sales transactions by category totals. When you do that you have to either mail Form 8453 with a copy of your 1099-B and Form 8949 or, if you are using TurboTax Online you can upload a copy. But once you transmit your return via e-file, you cannot make changes or add attachments (unless it is rejected for some reason. You will have to mail Form 8453 and your 1099-B

I think you might be right...
> When you do that you have to .. mail Form 8453 with a copy of your 1099-B and Form 8949...
By 1099-B, do you mean "Form 1099-B Worksheet" being tagged by TurboTax (desktop) as "Keep for your records"?
I see...
Some 1099-B (not all) have written:
"Taxpayer must mail in a statement with more details? - Yes"
... so these must be attached as you suggested. Thank you.
