Hello~
What if I included the relevant tax form (1098-E), but forgot to include the Schedule 1 form?
Will I be ok? The exact number is documented on 1040 line 10b.
Or should I send the sheet? Or resend everything? I have never had an issue before.
Thanks!

If you mailed in your tax return and it didn't include Schedule 1 (Form 1040) Additional Income and Adjustments to Income, the IRS may send you a letter asking for the form. Before sending in anything, wait for the IRS to process your return. See Where's My Refund?
If you used TurboTax and e-filed your return, TurboTax would have generated Schedule 1 when you entered form 1098-E so you should be good.
The interest you paid during the year on a qualified student loan used to pay for tuition, fees, room and board, books and supplies for yourself, your spouse, or your dependent is deductible. This includes both required and voluntarily pre-paid interest payments.
Student loan interest is reported on Form 1098-E. If you paid interest of $600 or more on a qualified student loan during the year, you'll receive this form from your lender.
Here's how to enter your student loan interest in TurboTax. We'll ask you questions to make sure you qualify and also calculate how much of a deduction you’re entitled to.
You claim this deduction as an adjustment to income, so you don't need to itemize your deductions.
Thanks! The form was there, but it was accidentally left out of the mailing because the print out was shuffled. Hopefully, it'll be ok as there is only one relevant item. Fingers crossed. Thanks for your help.
