I do not have self-employment income. That was a mistake to click on. How can I remove it from the Federal section of my filing? It is stopping me from filing.

Follow these instructions to remove a Schedule C that you erroneously started.  

Instructions

1. With your return open, search for     sch c       and hit enter.
2. Select the Jump to link in the search results.
3. On the Business Summary screen, select Delete next to the defunct business.
4. Answer Yes to confirm the removal of all business-related forms.

If that doesn't work, type 1099-misc in the search bar.  Use that Jump to link and delete the self-employment 1099 from the summary.
