need to finish and submit 2017 turbo taxes and I do have order confirmation for payment last year. Now trying to go on line to finish but system wants me to selection my "product" and pay. Don't want to pay again. How can I just finish and send via mail to submit my taxes. I actually have all the forms completed and can print them so what else was necessary to "finish" it last year on line?

The TurboTax online editions are only for tax year 2018.
To access your current or prior year tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the userID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/
Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and on the section Your tax returns & documents click on Show. Click on the Year and Click on Download/print return (PDF)
A 2017 tax return can only be printed and mailed, it cannot be e-filed.
Print, sign, date and mail the tax return to the IRS. Include with the mailed return any forms W-2 and 1099 which have taxes withheld. Go to this IRS website for mailing addresses - https://www.irs.gov/filing/where-to-file-paper-tax-returns-with-or-without-a-payment
There are no penalties for filing a tax return after the due date if filing for a tax refund or there are no taxes owed.

I CANNOT ACCESS MY 2017 TAXES NO MATTER HOW HARD I TRY. I PAID FOR THEM BUT NEVER FINISHED THEM AND NEED TO DO SO NOW. TURBO TAX SYSTEM CRASHED BADLY LAST YEAR AND NOW WE HAVE TO DOWNLOAD SOME TAX. FILE TO ACCESS 2017 AND I'VE TRIED AT LEAST 100 TIMES TO NO AVAIL. I HAVE THE PDF VERSION WITH ALL OF THE TURBO TAX HYPERLINKS WHICH WE GET AFTER WE PAY FOR THE SERVICE BUT I NEED TO ACCESS THE ACTUAL TURBO TAX FILE I WAS WORKING ON ONLINE AND NO MATTER WHAT I DO IT WILL NOT WORK.
If you were using the TurboTax online editions for tax year 2017 and did not complete the return, then you will need to have the 2017 TurboTax software installed on a personal computer and the tax data file from the online edition to complete the tax return.
If you paid for one of the 2017 online editions of either Plus, Deluxe, Premier or Self-Employed then you have access to all prior year online accounts through October 2019. Provided that you are signing onto the online account using the exact same User ID used to create the prior year account.
To access your current or prior year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the userID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

To open the 2017 tax data file that was download, you need to start the TurboTax 2017 program software installed on your personal computer. I HAVE REPEATED THE PROCESS YOU MENTIONED AT LEAST 100 TIMES TO NO AVAIL. THE RETURN I WORKED ON FOR WEEKS IS GONE. AGAIN, I HAVE THE PDF FILE THAT WAS DOWNLOADED IN 2018 AFTER I PAID AND WORKED ON MY RETURN. THE ONLY OPTION TURBO TAX IS GIVING ME IS TO START FROM SCRATCH. I STARTED TO DO THAT BUT I REFUSE TO RE-PAY FOR THIS.
THE INFORMATION I ENTERED IN 2018 IS IMPERATIVE TO ME AS I WAS HOMELESS AND LOST MOST OF MY PAPERWORK SO YOU SEE, I TRULY NEED THE ORIGINAL FILE I WORKED ON IN 2018 AND CANNOT FIND IT ANYWHWERE. EVERY OTHER YEAR IS ACCESSIBLE ALL THE WAY DOWN TO 2009 BUT NOT 2017.
The 2017 online account is available if you created the account.
You have to sign onto your 2017 online account using the exact same user ID you used to create the 2017 online account.
Close all TurboTax windows on your web browser (including this one). Copy and paste the account recovery website link onto a new web browser window and run the tool.
Use this TurboTax account recovery website to get a list of all the user ID's for an email address. Run the tool against any email addresses you may have used - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/account-recovery
If none of the user ID's received will access your 2017 account, then use the option shown in blue on the account recovery website, "Try something else"
If you still cannot access your account, you can contact TurboTax customer service/support through their contact website during business hours.
