Filing Status Inconsistency

I efiled my federal return on 3/12/2026 and received Federal Return Accepted email on the same day. After two weeks, the status on IRS website is still 'Not Processed'. Using TT to check the filing status, and it thinks I have not file the return and proceed to the efile option.

Should I wait or shoud I file another one? What happened if I file it again? Is it possible that TT efiled my return but IRS never received it? I need some advices before April 15.

The IRS received the tax return so there is no need to file the same tax return again. You could not e-file another return anyway since the original has already been e-filed.

After the tax return has been Accepted by the IRS (meaning only that they received the return) it will be in the Processing mode until the tax refund has been Approved and then an Issue Date will be available on the IRS website.
