all done with my taxes, did them last week on turbotax.
Jan 22 stripe sent me an email saying "Download your finalized Instacart 1099 tax form"
I did my taxes based off that "finalized" form.
Today I get an email from stripe that have my "corrected" instacart 1099 form which now shows about $3,000 more in income that obviously is not included on tax return.
No clue what to do now that my taxes have already been filed
You'll need to sign in or create an account to connect with an expert.
You will have to wait until your first return has been fully processed and then amend it to include that additional income. You will need to amend using a Form 1040X. If you need help with it, post back for help with amending AFTER your original tax return has been processed. Meantime do not try to change anything on your return.
so Instacart can just keep "correcting" my income, for how long?
can they do it again after I file the amendment?
