Filed Feb 1st and no Direct Deposit update... anyone else experiencing similar issue?

I filed my taxes Feb 1st and it was accepted by the IRS immediately that same day. I filed as a single taxpayer with education credit, pretty simple. My initial projected refund date was the 22nd according to Turbo, but now it's the 23rd and still nothing from the IRS. I set up for Direct Deposit too. In the past 4 years of using TurboTax, I'd normally recieve my refund via DD within 2-3 weeks. This is the first time I am experiencing this delay! I've tried using the IRS tracking refund tool only to get that they are still processing my refund and a date will be posted once it becomes available. Very frustrating, really depending on this refund to catch up on some seriously behind bills. :( Anyone else experiencing a very long delay too with no update? Will delinquent credit card debt affect receiving refunds?

i was having same issues! i filed on the 8th and just this past weekend got a ddd of 2/27..

I filed on the 5th of Feb and wheres my refund still says processing .  i have never had an issue before either and i am becomeing very worried i depend on my refund every year :(

Just about the same thing here. Filed on Feb. 7th with EITC which I know doesn't start being refunded until the 27th of Feb at the earliest. Turbotax anticipated the 28th would be the day they sent it via DD and nothing. WMR tool still says processing, no contact from the IRS saying that there's a delay or audit... nothing. Will be calling at 7AM tomorrow but certainly not holding my breath for any real answers.

They had my taxes since January 28 and most recently they said it could go under possible examination or an audit are you kidding me it took that long to do it what the hell is going on with our damn taxes
