Federal rerun date

Based on latest from Mnuchin if I owe tax do I file and not pay so does that mean I do not file electronically and have payment set to be drafted of can I put a future date (90 days past 4/15) to have it drafted, also what about state taxes if I don’t have to file federal for an additional 90 days will I be able to file my state return?

Can you set to have federal taxes owed debited from your checking and set the date to July 15 with the new extension by the fed?

Not at this time.  You must select pay by check to move through the interview and pay later or select debit to pay by 15 Apr.
