Did you use the Self-Employed software?  Did you actually file your return already?  If you did not file it yet, you could switch to a less expensive version.  If you already e-filed or printed and mailed, you can ask customer support for help, but do not count on getting your fee reduced since you already used the software.  (Like eating a steak in a restaurant and telling the server after you ate it " I wish I had only ordered a burger.")

If you did not pay or register (or file):

If you did NOT file yet:

If you qualify to use it, there is another full-featured free version of the software:

    Try Free File:

You qualify if your income was $36,000 or less, or $69,000 or less if active duty military, or if you qualify for Earned Income Credit

Note:  If you do not qualify to use Free File then you will have to upgrade to Deluxe or higher in the paid versions of the software.

Online Deluxe $60  State software $50
