The IRS said I needed proof of an email from TurboTax stating my full refund

Why would the IRS want that ? What are you trying to prove ?
I don’t know.. when I checked my refund stats they said they needed that
On the IRS site you need the primary taxpayer SS#, the filing status and the exact fed refund amount ... nothing about an email ... https://www.irs.gov/refunds
Was your return successfully efiled ? Check here :
I did all that.. I filed February and its not in review anymore but says it’s still processing and needed an email. That’s what it said after I checked my irs refund online after 60 days of it being reviewed
Where do you think you are seeing that the IRS wants an email from TurboTax? If you are trying to check on your federal refund status:
You need your filing status (Single, Married filing Jointly, Head of Household, etc.) , your Social Security number and the exact amount (line 20 of your Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:
I did all that.. I check it all the time and have all the correct information for my federal return
It seems very odd that the IRS would want an email from TurboTax. Can you copy and paste the message or put up a screen shot of it? Without your personal identification.
If the return is in processing then from time to time the IRS could show no info as the return passes thru the system ... this is normal. And due to the recent shut down the IRS is 8 weeks behind in their normal schedule so everything has been delayed ... all anyone can do is be patient as they try to catch up.
