How do I find the correct EIN for my 1099-Rs so that IRS will accept my efiled return?
I've checked the 1099-R forms I received and the numbers are all correct according to them.

The EIN format is XX-XXXXXXX is this the format of the number you are entering? If it is and your return is being rejected you should contact the financial institution that sent the 1099-R and ask them for the correct EIN number, Once you have the correct EIN enter that into your return and re-file.

Thanks for the reply. I fixed the EINs on the submitted 1099-R forms and resubmitted both Federal and State returns. I received notifications by email late Friday(15th) that both returns were accepted and left it at that. I then came back to TurboTax this morning, on the 17th, and now find that the Federal return was rejected and the NY state return was accepted.
What's going on here? Do I believe the email or TurboTax?
Should I resubmit my Federal return or what?
You get an email when the returns are sent (submitted) and then another one when the return(s) are accepted. You may have one that says sent for federal but sent and accepted for your state. Verify in TurboTax however. This link has instructions to check your e-file status for both Online and the desktop software.
