Early Filer - Not transmitted after IRS opened.

Hey everyone. Has anyone come across a situation where your return wasn't transmitted the day IRS opens?

I did my taxes on the 25th, IRS opened the 26th, TT says my return is still Pending.

Millions of e-files have been sitting on servers since early January.   It will take a few days to clear out the backlog.    Watch your emails.

When you e-file your return you will get two emails from TurboTax.  The first one will say your return has been transmitted; the second one will tell you the IRS has accepted  or rejected your federal e-file.  If you filed a state return, there will be a third email (usually a day or two later) that tells you if the state e-file was accepted or rejected.
