E file status still pending after 4 days of filing

My state and fed taxes still haven’t been accepted or declined and I filed on Monday and it is now Thursday. Everything seemed very correct when I entered my info but haven’t received any news either way.

"Pending" simply means that the government hasn't accepted or rejected your tax return yet. Generally, they stay in a "Pending" status for 24-48 hours, but sometimes returns can stay in "Pending" for several days or even longer. https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/2562178-what-does-pending-mean
