Does the fact that info on my w2 form says single, while I'm filling as married, affect my tax return?

The "single" information on your W-2 relates to the amount of taxes your employer withheld from your paycheck in 2017 (When you filed out a W-4 for your employer, you may have indicated 1 exemption, or single)  This will not make a difference except you probably had more taxes withheld (prepaid) than was necessary.  Meaning your refund may be higher.
