No. There is no tax break for unemployment on the Mississippi state tax return. Mississippi does not exclude part of your unemployment income from tax, like the federal government does. So there is nothing to file an amendment for. All of your unemployment income is taxable in Mississippi.
So just checking, Mississippi will not get any kind of refund from the unemployment tax break if they filed already

That is correct. In Mississippi you will not get any refund from the unemployment tax break if you filed already, or if you didn't file yet. There is no unemployment tax break on Mississippi state tax.
