Do I need to send my w2 with my printed tax papers if I have to mail them in?

I already Efiled my federal and tried to Efile my state but the state was on hold. I hit a wrong button when trying to submit my state and now I have to mail my state in. Not quite sure what all I have to do.

Yes, you should include a copy of your W-2 if you are mailing in your tax return.

However, since your federal return was e-filed you should still be able to e-file your state return. To get back into your state return please take the steps below.

  1. Login to your TurboTax account.
  2. In the Welcome Home box, click Visit My Tax Timeline at the bottom.
  3. In the SOME THINGS YOU CAN DO section, click Add a state.
  4. Click on the State Taxes tab.
  5. Click Continue to start or complete your state taxes.
  6. Click Done with State.
  7. Continue through the flow to review and file your state taxes. Make sure to change your filing method to e-file instead of file by mail.
