Do I need to mail my federal return if there was no change in federal return after amendment?change was only in the state return after I corrected my educational expense!

I incorrectly inserted me educational expense previously. Then I amended and changed the information which increased my state refund but didn't affect the federal tax refund. DO I need to mail the federal tax return? Or I do not need to mail since there was no change in the amount.

Since your Federal return information changed you will need to send in the zero dollar change amendment. This will ensure that the change is captured although the change resulted in no dollar change to your Federal return.
