I just completed filing my taxes and I included my son, he is a college student, he worked part time and made $3600 and received a 1099. I did not include his 1099, do I have to do an amended return?

You don’t include his income on your return. He should file his own return taking care to check the box saying that he was claimed by someone else. He will have to pay self employment tax on that income.
Any income earned by your son is not added to your tax return. No amended return is necessary.
However, your son may need to file a tax return if he received a form 1099-Misc and the income was reported in Box 7 as non-employee compensation.
