I used the new IRS calculator to determine if my Social Security benefits are taxable. The calculator advises I only owe $49. Turbo Tax advises my Social Security benefits are taxable and advises I own $429. How can I confirm entering data correctly into Turbo Tax? I am able to pay $429, just trying to figure out the differences? Are you able to check to see if I entered data correctly into Turbo Tax? Thank you. Mel

No one can see your screen, your tax return or your account. Delete the SSA1099 and enter it again if you are unsure if you entered it correctly. You should not do anything when you enter the SSA1099 except enter it exactly as it appears.
Thanks for your advice.
Please see Turbo Tax post dated May 24, 2019 updated Feb 21,2020 "if your return is pending, you won't be able to make any changes until it's accepted or rejected by the IRS". Thank you.
