Yes, if you owe the IRS this year, for a previous year, or if you’re on an installment plan, you’ll still get your stimulus payment. The law says no offsets for existing federal tax debts, with one exception: child support. If you owe child support, your stimulus payment can be seized for the outstanding amount.
Stimulus payments have not been sent to all taxpayers yet. Please view this IRS link and use the Get Your Payment application, available mid-April, to check the status of your stimulus payment.
