My. Taxes went under review its days 45 days what does that mein

Oh! If you Google search IRS transcript it will take you to the IRS website where you can sign up to get access to your transcript. My hold is up on the 21st. And I was told to start checking my back on that day. However reading all of your new comments it has me worried since I claimed 2 children this year.

I also heard alot of people got their refund without wmr updating. So I was just curious if your transcript shows the refund code or if yours still shows notice sent like mine.

@daniellefisher51  Oh yeah sorry completely forgot to come back here. So I told them my 60 days was up May 8th and that I even gave an extra 10 days just to see if I got anything. Well she looked into my account and they haven't even finished the review so she sent a referral to whatever department to have my refund released or to get in contact with me if anything else was needed and that could take up to 60 days.I guess thats a start but im done caring at this point I've adjusted for the most part without it so July 17th is possibly what I'm looking at I'll let y'all know if it comes earlier though my refund is for 6300$ I'm not just letting this brush over.

@steelcity50 I'm done caring as well. Its extremely frustrating, but I have made due. I have a feeling I am going to hear similar news after the 21st. Fingers crossed for us all.

So is mine tomorrow! I called on my break at work today and I found out I was sent another 60 day notice on may 16th. I started crying on the phone I just cant believe this!!! Bc the website didnt change so I had a bad feeling..

Oh no! I have been super worried about that too. I called the IRS on the 3rd and she said check on the 21st. I should have it. But everything I have been dealing with lately it wouldn't surprise me if I dont have it or at least a ddd. So if wmr hasn't updated by tomorrow, I will call.

Good luck to you too. It really sucks that we all are going through this, I know we all need our money. I was counting in it to fix my car before I take my family on vacation, but I dount it will happen at this point.

Does anyone know what the time limit is for the IRS to issue refunds legally? I'm curious if they have any laws regulating their timeline for releasing refunds or giving a reason/explanation.

I filed February 5th. 45 days later, ON the 45th day I recieved a letter stating my taxes were under review & that the review could take "UP TO 60 additional days". Here we are 61 days later, no update on the app for me, still says it's being processed, no additional letter, this is getting ridiculous.

@amberbrommeland I've actually seen a couple people on other forum's tell us they didn't get there refund last year until late October. Not sure what there situation was but I pray none of us half to got through that.
