I have been with TurboTax for many years now, however, I really need to be able to use the advance feature this year. My wife and I file jointly, but Credit Karma will not update her last name (since we got married) on her account because “it does not reflect her last name in her TransUnion credit report yet. We updated with TransUnion, however, with no resolve. My question is, will we still be able to get the advance sent to her account, even though the last name on the account is not changed? I just want to be sure that the deposit isn’t going to have any issues coming through on TT’s end. I really want to get this resolved and would love to stick with TT, but I’m afraid that if I can’t get the advance sent, I will have to go with H&R Block this year, because it is absolutely necessary that I get the advance this year unfortunately. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!!
