Will our stimulus checks be deposited on our Turbo Cards? I read an article from STG Santa Barbara ( A GreenDot Company) that says they WILL NOT be participating in the 2020 stimulus. https://www.sbtpg.com/coronavirus-stimulus-payment-info/

I know information is scarce right now but I feel as though the answer is known and we (the customers) are simply are not getting full transparency. All forums on this site indicate that TurboTax is waiting on the IRS for more guidance, but GreenDot themselves say they're not participating. So which is it? Very frustrated with  the information thats been provided thus far.

Yes, you are getting full transparency. The problem is that the COVID-19 situation is still evolving. As soon as there is definitive guidance, it will immediately be shared. 

We are still waiting for IRS guidance regarding updating or providing direct deposit information for the stimulus payments and how they will be distributed to these type of accounts. We will have more information once the government finalizes the details.
