Corrected 1099 results in payment of $4 to fed andd $2 to state. Do I need to file amendment?

For 2023 taxes, 1099 was sent out Feb 2024. Taxes filed March 2024. Oct 2024, 1099 corrected sent out.

Accountant said cost basis of 1 of the stock was $30 less that results in owing fed $4 and $2 state. Do I need to file an amended 2023 return? Accountant will charge $175 to file this amendment.

For such a small amount I would not bother to file an amended return, even if you could do it for free. The IRS is not going to waste its time and money to collect $4.
