To access your current or prior year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the userID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/
When you sign onto your online account and land on the Tax Home web page, scroll down and click on Add a state.
This will take you back to the 2019 online tax return.
This answer does not explain how to make a correction when using the PC-based software. It only talks about the online version. How do you make a correction to the State return when using the PC-based version of Turbotax?

Just click on State Taxes at the top of the desktop program screen and go through the state program to get to the section that needs to be corrected.
Thank you. I should have been more clear about the problem. Specifically, before finishing the Federal return, I filed for an extension of time for both the Federal and state returns and included the estimated tax that I had to pay. When I later worked on the state return, I was asked if I want to file for an extension. Turbotax forgot that I had already did that, but when I said No, Turbotax did not account for the estimated payment that I had already made and it calculated the tax due with considering that payment!
The workaround to this problem was to go back and answer Yes to filing an extension. The problem with that, however, is that Turbotax calculated its own estimated tax payment based on the Federal return. That amount was less than the check I sent with the previous extension request. Turbotax did not offer me the opportunity to change that amount. I need to somehow correct the amount calculated by Turbotax. I went into Forms and found the worksheet for the extension request, but Turbotax would not let me change the number. How can I make the correction?
I meant to say that Turbotax did not take into consideration the estimated tax that I had already paid.
