According to the IRS, refunds can only be deposited into banks within the United States right? Is there a way around, since i don't have a US bank account anymore.

Correct, only US accounts. Also, Your refund should only be deposited directly into accounts that are in your own name; your spouse’s name or both if it’s a joint account.
Some PrePaid Cards allow direct deposits and would give you a routing number and account number to use for the deposit. Please contact the individual PrePaid Card Customer Service to verify.
