Filed my taxes this morning - set the payment date for April 15. The deadline. Now there is a 90 day extension for payment due to Corona..how do I change my payment date to reflect that?

I have the same issue for my return and some family returns. Will the IRS automatically slip the electronic withdrawals from April 15?
Same question. Let us know. Thanks.
I’m trying to file my taxes NOW, but it won’t let me select past April 15th for the payment date. I wanted to select July 15th, but it won’t let me! They clearly haven’t updated their software yet. I’m gonna give it a few days before trying to file again.
Same here. My payment is set to withdraw on April 15th and obviously need more time now due to financial situations. When will Turbo Tax revise date selections to Amend the payment dates?
You are unable to change your payment date in TurboTax once you filed your return and it has been accepted but you can cancel it and then make other payment arrangements with the IRS.
Federal Tax direct debit payments can be canceled up to 48 hours (midnight, Eastern time) before the date you designated the funds to be debited. To cancel your direct debit transaction, call (888) 353-4537.But please wait 7-10 days after your return was accepted before calling.

State : For your State direct debit payment you would need to contact your State directly to see if you can change the date or cancel the transaction. Each state is different you can find the contact information for your State by using this link to find the contact information for your State:

For those of us who haven't yet filed, when will turbotax software be updated to allow the selection of a date later than april 15th for payment?

I just filed my taxes, but selected the “mail in payment” option.
The “auto bank debit” option still wasn’t letting me add 90 days past April 15th.
Mailing in the payment gives me total control, as they might extend the deadline past July 15th if things get worse in the economy.
I like having total control of when I send my payment in.
Please see below for more information about the deadline:
