Did you already e-file?  If you did NOT e-file you can go to the FILE section and change how you want to receive your refund.  If you want direct deposit you need the routing number and your own account number.

You cannot  change banking information while your return is in pending, nor can you change it after the return is accepted.

And if you already filed and the bank rejects your deposit the IRS will mail a check to the address on your return.

I have been trying to contact u guys about my direct deposit...my 2nd stimulus went Turbo was sent back to irs..bank acct closed ..Today turbo taxs received 3rd stimulus  check .

@Dmcconnell863 There is not a portal to change banking information after you have filed your tax return.   Sorry.   If you do not have direct deposit they will mail you a check.

I've received my 2020 tax return. I need to update my direct deposit because I no longer have access to this account on file my new info is. Account number [number removed] routing number [number removed]

@Kimbbryson1976 Luckily the filter removed that banking information you tried to post here in the PUBLIC user forum to protect you from identity thieves and scammers who would love your banking information.   Please do not post your personal information here---it can be seen by anyone.

You cannot change your banking information after you file your tax return.   The next time you prepare a tax return using TurboTax and are entering the information to file it, you will be able to change your banking information.   

If you are worried about a stimulus check etc, the IRS will use the information from the most recent return you filed.  This is not a portal to change the banking information after you file.   If a deposit is sent to a closed account it goes back to the IRS and they issue and mail a check to the address on your most recent tax return.

Gave my.old account number by mystake need to change as soon as possible before it submits to the IRS .
