Chagning the reason for amendment

I am amending 2019. Both for federal and state, when I started the amendment, it asked me the reason for amendment. Now I want to modify it, but I don't know how. How do I do it ? (both for federal and state)

I contacted TurboTax. They told me the reason cannot be changed. I have to start over a new amendment.

Actually, as I was finishing my return, I did a review and it allowed me to change the 'Reason for changes' for federal. Not for state.

The reason on the state return should have changed when you changed it on the federal return. If it did not, then you will need to contact Customer Support again so you can speak with a different representative who can assist you.
