Can you remove the duplicate information from my return?

That is simply duplicate info about my IRA at BECU. Please remove it. It is NOT a second source of income.

Can you remove the duplicate information from my return?

No, no one in Community can even look at your tax return, and definitely not change it, even with your permission.

What Community can do is give you answers to your tax questions, step-by-step directions, and advice about tax matters.

If the issue is a duplicated 1099-R, this is how to remove the duplicate:

  1. Open your return.
  2. Select Federal, then Wages & Income.
  3. Scroll down to IRA, 401(k), Pension Plan Withdrawals (1099-R), under Retirement Plans and Social Security, select Start or Revisit to the right.
  4. You will see a screen similar to the image below. Select the trash can icon to the right of the duplicate entry to get rid of it.

If this isn't the issue you are working on, ‌ respond with more detail about what you are trying to do.

No.

The problem is that my credit union includes the name of a credit union assn. in WA state in the payers block, along with theirs. Turbo Tax sees it as me having 2 IRAs and 2 savings accounts. I'm dealing with the credit union to get the 1099's changed.

It seems that the easiest fix for this would be to enter the 1099-R manually and only enter the name of your credit union into the name block.  That name will match the EIN and the address and be fine.
