Can you get your refund before the scheduled to be sent "BY" date?

When I log on to the where's my refund website, it says "your refund is scheduled to be sent to your bank BY February 22, if not deposited by February 27th contact your bank to see if it was received." Does this mean it could be deposited before the 22 sense it says it should be sent out by the 22?

Yes, it can be deposited before your scheduled date. It is usually deposited the day before.

@WarriorsFan  No one in the user forum can pinpoint when your refund will go into your account.   TurboTax does not get any information after you file your tax return.   If the IRS is saying they will issue your refund by a certain date you need to remember that they also tell you to allow up to five days after that  for it to post to your account.   So do not set yourself up for disappointment by counting on your refund coming early.   All you can really do is watch your account for the refund to post.
