Can we submit an amended filing via turbotax?

We claimed a child, but she actually spent more time with her father who wants to claim her instead. She's been removed on our end, but Turbo Tax is telling her dad he still can't claim her.

Yes, however there are a few things you should keep in mind: Amended returns are not processed electronically. Amended returns can take 6-12 weeks to be processed by the IRS after you complete them online then print and mail them off. Due to this processing time, after your amended return is sent in, your child's father will still be unable to e-file and claim her right away. Therefore he can either wait until you receive confirmation in the mail of your processed amendment OR he can print and file his return by mail after your amendment is sent in.
